Karimnagar’s District Election Officer and Collector, Dr B Gopi, has emphasized the use of the e-Suvida app to simplify the process of permits and nominations in elections. During a meeting with representatives from various political parties at the Collectorate meeting hall, the Collector highlighted the availability of the cVIGIL and e-Suvidha apps for election complaints, approvals, and nominations. The e-Suvida app allows parties to obtain prior permissions for party meetings and submit nominations electronically. Political parties have also been asked to provide details of their booth level agents.
To ensure transparency, committees will monitor campaign activities regularly. Printing press owners in the district are required to provide their contact information and details on all materials related to political parties. The Collector also assured the provision of basic facilities, such as electricity, fresh water, toilets, ramps for the disabled, and wheelchairs, in the 1338 polling centers across the district.
The meeting was attended by representatives from various political parties, including BSP, BJP, CPI (M), Congress, MIM, and BRS Party.
