    The Formation Day celebrations took place at Parade Grounds and featured a ceremonial march past with about ten contingents participating. IPS officer K Rahul Reddy from Hyderabad led the parade as the commander.

    Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy arrived early at the venue to hoist the national flag and take the salute from the contingents in the parade. Special enclosures were set up for the families of Martyrs, Telangana ‘Udyamakarulu’, Ministers, and the general public. The media enclosure was also relocated to a new position near the flag post.

    A message from CWC Chairperson Sonia Gandhi was displayed on a giant screen at the venue, which received applause from the audience. Revanth Reddy released the State’s song ‘Jaya Jaya he Telangana Janani Jayaketanam’ and presented awards to police personnel and contingents participating in the march past.
