Allegations have been made against Prime Minister Narendra Modi for lying during a public meeting in Mahabubnagar. Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, Chairman of Rythu Bandhu Samithi, has suggested that BJP leaders in the state should provide a proper script to the Prime Minister for the upcoming meeting in Nizamabad.

During a press conference at the BRSLP office, Rajeshwar Reddy stated that the BRS has evidence to prove that the Prime Minister lied during the public meeting. He criticized Modi for speaking like a street leader and spreading falsehoods about the availability of water in projects. Rajeshwar Reddy questioned how Telangana could produce over one crore tonnes of food grains if there was no water. He urged BJP leaders to give the Prime Minister an accurate script for the Nizamabad meeting.
