The president of Telangana State Rythu Bandhu Samithi, Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s allegations against the State government. He stated that the people of Telangana will not support the policies of the BJP. Reddy made these comments during a press conference at the BRSLP office in Hyderabad.
During his visit to Warangal, Reddy claimed that the PM only focused on political criticism instead of addressing important issues. He mentioned that the people of Warangal had been waiting for the establishment of the Kazipet Railway Coach Factory for a long time, but instead, the PM laid the foundation stone for a wagon industry and took the coach factory to Gujarat.
Reddy also pointed out instances of corruption within the BJP and questioned why the PM neglected to mention them. He criticized the Central government for harassing opposition parties with IT, CBI, and ED cases while BJP leaders were involved in corruption. Reddy stated that all allegations made by Modi were baseless and that the people of Telangana will not support the BJP’s policies.
Furthermore, Reddy highlighted the broken promises in the AP Reorganisation Act. He mentioned that a tribal university was not established in Mulugu and there was no announcement regarding the establishment of a steel plant in Bayyaram. Reddy accused the PM of reading a script written by State BJP leaders.
In addition, Reddy voiced concerns about the privatization of public sector companies by the Central government. He expressed readiness to discuss vacant jobs in both State and Central government departments. Reddy also accused Modi of prioritizing the interests of industrialists like Adani and Ambani over the well-being of the economy.
