Mahabubnagar witnessed grand celebrations on Saturday as people across the region came together to mark the 286th birth anniversary of Sant Sri Sevalal Maharaj. The event was observed with devotion and enthusiasm, with large rallies and special prayer offerings held at all mandal headquarters. These celebrations reflected the deep respect people have for the revered Banjara guru.

In Jadcherla mandal, Banjara community leaders and employees’ unions organized a grand rally. They carried a huge poster of Sant Sri Sevalal and marched from the New Bus Stand to the Tulja Bhavani Temple near Shankarayapally Tanda. At the temple, leaders and devotees participated in the Bhog Bhandaro program and offered special prayers, celebrating the saint’s legacy.

To support the celebrations, the state government declared a casual leave for Banjara community employees. This allowed many to take part in the processions and prayer offerings across the Palamuru region. People in each mandal honored Sant Sevalal by preparing Bhog and paying tribute to his teachings.
