Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Errabelli Dayakar Rao spoke at two events in Jangaon district on Monday. He criticized the previous Congress and BJP governments for not helping the common people. He also criticized former minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah for not developing the Jangaon constituency. The minister praised the BRS government for balancing welfare and development and providing unique welfare programs like Aasara pensions, Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bima, and 24-hour uninterrupted free power supply for agriculture.

Errabelli has set a goal of empowering 20,000 women in Palakurthi constituency. He noted that a tailoring scheme, funded by Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP) and Stree Nidhi, is underway to train women in tailoring. These women will have a chance to get employment at upcoming projects like Kakatiya Mega Textile Park and Mini Textile Park.
