The Pakistan Cricket Team played two practice matches at Hyderabad’s Uppal Stadium in India for the ODI World Cup. They received great hospitality in Hyderabad. The Pakistani cricketers stayed at Park Hyatt, one of the top hotels in the city. They enjoyed eating Hyderabad Biryani, which is famous worldwide.

Pakistan vice-captain Shadab Khan mentioned that they have been having biryani every day, which might be affecting their performance on the field. They missed catches and had some misfields in the warm-up matches against New Zealand and Australia. Videos of these incidents are going viral on social media. Shadab jokingly commented that the Hyderabad biryani indirectly contributed to their slowness on the field.
