Hyderabad: Padma Shri awardee and famous Kinnera artist, Darshanam Mogilaiah, recently met with Rachakonda Police Commissioner, Sudheer Babu. He wanted to thank the police for helping him in a land dispute.

The Telangana government had given Mogilaiah 600 yards of land in Bhag Hayatnagar, Ranga Reddy district. He had built a wall around the land. However, on October 11, some unknown people destroyed part of the wall on the north side. Mogilaiah filed a complaint at the Hayatnagar police station.

The police took quick action by registering a case and starting an investigation. During the meeting, the Police Commissioner promised Mogilaiah that they would protect his land. He also assured Mogilaiah that they would find and arrest the people responsible for damaging the wall and take legal action against them.
