T Padma Rao Goud, a senior BRS leader and Secunderabad MLA, will be contesting in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The BRS also announced Kyama Mallesh and K Krishna Reddy as candidates for the Bhongir and Nalgonda Lok Sabha segments respectively.

The BRS has allotted six tickets to BCs, one to Kamma, and four seats to Reddys. Party chief K Chandrashekhar Rao revealed the names of the three candidates after meetings with leaders from the respective Lok Sabha segments. Some senior leaders declined the offer to contest in Bhongir and Nalgonda due to the party’s recent defeat in the Assembly elections.

Despite facing challenges, Padma Rao is said to have significant support in the Secunderabad segment. He is expected to put up a tough fight against Congress and BJP candidates in the Lok Sabha elections.
