Major Infrastructure and Community Welfare Initiatives Launched
Serilingampally, February 17 – State Public Finance Committee Chairman and MLA Arekapudi Gandhi continues to push forward with major infrastructure and development projects in the Serilingampally constituency. In a series of events, he participated as the chief guest in the inauguration and foundation-laying ceremonies for key projects, including CC road construction, a floodwater drainage canal, and community welfare facilities.
₹42 Lakh CC Road Construction in Miyapur Division
In Jayaprakash Narayana Nagar Colony, located in Miyapur Division, Arekapudi Gandhi inaugurated the construction of a CC road that will be built with an estimated cost of ₹42 lakh. This new road is expected to enhance connectivity and provide smoother commutes for residents in the area.
₹5 Crore Floodwater Drainage Project from Gurunatham Cheruvu to Patel Cheruvu
To address urban flooding and water stagnation issues, a ₹5 crore floodwater drainage canal will be constructed between Gurunatham Cheruvu and Patel Cheruvu. Arekapudi Gandhi, along with Corporator Uppalapati Srikanth, participated in the foundation stone-laying ceremony for this critical project. Once completed, the drainage system will help prevent waterlogging, ensuring better water flow and improved sanitation in the region.
Community Housing and Welfare Facilities at Indira Reddy Alwin Colony
In Hafeezpet Division’s Indira Reddy Alwin Colony, Arekapudi Gandhi inaugurated a newly constructed housing complex for temple priests and staff at the Sri Sri Sri Kashi Annapurna Sametha Visveswara Swamy Temple. The facility includes:
• Living quarters for temple priests and staff
• A dedicated Annadanam (free meal distribution) hall
• A storehouse for temple supplies
This initiative is aimed at enhancing the well-being of temple workers and ensuring that religious services continue smoothly.
