To enforce the MCC guidelines set by the Election Commission of India, the police have formed 373 Flying Squads (FS), 374 Static Surveillance Teams (SST), and 95 State internal border check posts. They have also deployed mobile parties of local police to prevent illegal transportation of cash, precious metals, liquor, and freebies.

During the 2018 Assembly elections, approximately Rs 103 crore was seized throughout the MCC period. This year, within a short period of time, the police have already recovered Rs 101 crore in cash, precious metals, and liquor. It is important for all political party members to abide by the MCC guidelines to ensure smooth elections.
