    Hyderabad: Telangana Environment Protection Training and Research Institute (EPTRI) and the University College of Law, Osmania University, recently hosted a symposium on ‘Just-Greening for Climate Justice’. The event was chaired by Ahmad Nadeem, principal secretary to the government for environment, forest, science, and technology, as well as the director general of EPTRI. The symposium took place at the University College of Law at Osmania University.

    The main goal of the symposium was to raise awareness about the pressing need to tackle climate change. Participants were reminded of the importance of preserving biodiversity, reducing carbon emissions, and working towards a greener and more sustainable future. Around 100 students and faculty members from the University of Law College and other departments of Osmania University attended the event.

    During the symposium, students shared their thoughts on the current climate situation and offered recommendations for taking part in climate-friendly actions. Their ideas highlighted the importance of collective efforts in addressing environmental challenges.

    In related news, a two-day national seminar on “Recent Trends in Medical Equipment, RTME 24,” was also organized by the Biomedical Engineering department in association with BMESI and the OUCE student council. The seminar concluded recently.
