In Hyderabad, during the Bonalu celebrations at the Ujjain Mahakali Temple in Secunderabad, Jogini Swarnalata, the bonalu oracle, expressed her satisfaction with the flawless performance of the pujas. However, she mentioned that the promise made to her last year has been forgotten. The event took place on Monday and included a field programme where Jogini stood on a golden green earthen pot and made a prophecy.

When priests asked about the delay in rains this year, Jogini assured them that the State will definitely receive abundant rains, even if they are late. Many devotees gathered at the temple to hear Jogini Swarnalatha’s prophecy. Telangana Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav and several other leaders also participated in the event.
