Avinash Mohanty, Cyberabad Commissioner of Police, observed the 75th Republic Day by flying the Indian national flag at the Cyberabad CP office on Friday. The ceremony was attended by a prominent group of police personnel, including Cyberabad Traffic Joint CP Narayana Naik and other senior authorities.
Commissioner Mohanty paid sad tribute to the images of deceased leaders, appreciating their sacrifices. He conveyed warm Republic Day wishes to the police officers and residents who attended the occasion.
Speaking about the significance of the day, CP Mohanty emphasized the historic significance of January 26, 1950, when India’s Constitution went into effect. He underlined the people’s collective power to define their own fate while also celebrating the country’s democratic and sovereign spirit.
“Our Constitution, a light of noble ideas such as liberty, equality, and fraternity, was ratified precisely 74 years ago. Today, we honor the architects of our Constitution and take pleasure in our democratic and republican country,” Commissioner Mohanty said.
As a token of appreciation for exceptional service, Cyberabad CP handed 18 Ati Utkrisht Seva Padak awards to police officers for their excellent efforts in various duties. Several dignitaries attended the occasion, including Cyberabad Traffic Joint CP Narayana Naik, Shamshabad DCP Narayana Reddy, Cyberabad DCP Crimes Narsimha Kothapally, and others, as well as a group of inspectors, ministerial staff, and other professionals.
