Today, petrol and diesel prices in India have remained stable. In Delhi, the petrol price is Rs. 96.72 per litre and diesel is Rs. 89.62. In Hyderabad, petrol costs Rs. 109.66 per litre and diesel is priced at Rs. 97.82 per litre. The petrol price in Chennai is at Rs. 102.65 per litre while diesel costs Rs. 94.24 per litre.

In Mumbai, petrol costs Rs. 106.31 per litre while diesel remains at Rs. 97.28 per litre. Bangalore’s petrol prices today are at Rs. 101.94 per litre while diesel costs Rs. 87.89 per litre.

India depends on crude oil imports for petrol and diesel, which is why crude prices affect fuel rates. However, other factors like rising demand, government taxes, rupee-dollar depreciation, and refinery concept ratio also impact domestic fuel prices.
