Today, petrol and diesel prices in India remained stable. According to fuel prices in major cities, petrol costs Rs. 96.72 per litre in Delhi and diesel costs Rs. 89.62. In Hyderabad, petrol is priced at Rs. 109.66 per litre and diesel is priced at Rs. 97.82 per litre. Chennai’s petrol price is Rs. 102.65 per litre and diesel is Rs. 94.24 per litre. India imports crude oil for petrol and diesel, which means that crude prices have an impact on fuel rates. However, other factors such as rising demand, government taxes, rupee-dollar depreciation, and refinery concept ratio can also have an impact on domestic fuel prices.
The fuel prices mentioned above are due at 6 am and are subject to change at any time as the petroleum companies will alter the fuel prices based on the crude oil prices.
