Today’s petrol and diesel prices in major cities across India remained stable. In Delhi, the price of petrol is Rs. 96.72 per litre while diesel is priced at Rs. 89.62 per litre. Hyderabad is currently selling petrol at Rs. 109.67 per litre and diesel at Rs. 97.82 per litre. Meanwhile, Chennai’s petrol price is at Rs. 102.63 per litre and diesel is priced at Rs. 94.24 per litre.
Mumbai’s petrol price is Rs. 106.31 per litre while diesel remains at Rs. 97.28 per litre. Bangalore’s petrol currently sells at Rs. 101.94 per litre and diesel at Rs. 87.89 per litre.
India depends on crude oil imports for petrol and diesel, which means that crude prices play a significant role in determining fuel rates. However, other factors such as government taxes, rupee-dollar depreciation, and refinery concept ratio can also affect domestic fuel prices.
The fuel prices mentioned above were due at 6 am and are subject to change at any time as petroleum companies alter prices based on crude oil prices.
