Karimnagar district experienced unexpected rains on Sunday night, causing damage to trees and electric wires. The heavy rainfall also led to water flowing on roads in different parts of the town, including Nakachowk, Hussenipura, Mancherial chowk, new Labour adda in Mankammathota, road number 5 in Thirumalnaga, Vidhyanagar, Indiranagar, Aadarshanagar and Ashoknagar. The roads were waterlogged, causing inconvenience to the locals. In Aamernagar colony, drainage water entered localities due to ongoing drainage works. Jagtial town also faced a similar situation.

Moreover, paddy stored in paddy purchasing centers was soaked in several parts of the old Karimnagar district. The strong winds blew away the tarpaulins placed to protect the paddy stocks from rain.
