    The district administration in Nalgonda is now preparing for the MLC by-election on May 27 after the successful Parliament elections. Election Officer and District Collector Dasari Harichandana announced that arrangements are being made for the Nalgonda-Khammam-Warangal graduate constituency MLC by-election.

    Nominations for the by-election have been completed, with 52 candidates in the running and symbols allotted to each of them. A total of 4,63,839 graduates have registered to vote for the Graduate MLC by-election, with 5 lakh postal ballots being printed for voters in Chanchalguda, Hyderabad.

    RDOs have been appointed as AROs in the newly formed 12 districts within the three erstwhile districts. 605 polling centers have been set up, with 286 routes and locations identified. 605 polling staff and 2,896 people are required for the by-election polling on May 27, including 724 POs, 724 APOs, and 1448 OPOs.

    Distribution centers will be established in the 12 district centers in Nalgonda, Khammam, and Warangal for polling staff to collect ballot papers and boxes. Jumbo ballot boxes will be used due to the large number of candidates in the contest. The Parliament elections in Nalgonda saw a peaceful conclusion, with a 74.03 percent voter turnout.
