    Hyderabad, February 19 – Officials conducted joint inspections at Gangaram Cheruvu, Patel Kunta Cheruvu, and Durgam Cheruvu in Serilingampally Zone to assess lake bund development, beautification, and sewage prevention measures.

    Development of Gangaram & Patel Kunta Cheruvu

    Zonal Commissioner Serilingampally Zone, along with HMDA Chief Engineer Ravinder, Irrigation Deputy EE Nalini, and GHMC officers, inspected Gangaram Cheruvu and Patel Kunta Cheruvu in Chandanagar Circle. The inspection focused on developing lake bunds and beautification efforts to improve the surrounding infrastructure.

    Sewage Prevention at Durgam Cheruvu

    A joint inspection was also conducted at Durgam Cheruvu to address concerns of sewage mixing into the lake. The inspection was led by HMDA MD Ashok Reddy IAS, ED Mayank Mittal IAS, Zonal Commissioner Serilingampally Zone, and officials from the Irrigation and GHMC departments. The team reviewed measures to prevent sewage inflow and maintain water quality.

    Implementation of Measures

    Officials stated that necessary actions will be taken to implement the development and conservation plans. The inspections aimed to evaluate current conditions and propose necessary improvements for the lakes.
