    The counting center for the Khammam Lok Sabha General Elections has been set up at Sri Chaitanya Engineering College in Khammam Rural Mandal Ponnekal. The District Collector VP Gautham, who is also the Returning Officer for the constituency, oversaw the arrangements.

    Gautham, along with election observers Dr. Sanjay G Kolte and counting observers Prediman Krishan Bhatt and Police Commissioner Sunil Dutt, conducted an inspection of the counting center. The Returning Officer explained the arrangements for counting halls, tables, entry of staff and agents, and transportation of EVMs from the EVM strong room to the counting hall.

    The inspection took place on Sunday, with Gautham ensuring that everything was in order for the upcoming counting of votes. The observers were briefed on the procedures and logistics to ensure a smooth and transparent counting process.
