    Tejas Nanda Lal Pawar, the District Election Officer in Wanaparthy, led a one-day training program for Assistant Presiding Officers (POs) on Saturday. The focus of the training was on election management and Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).

    The training session had 360 participants in each classroom. Discussions were held on how to handle issues with EVMs and how to submit forms correctly. The DEO emphasized the importance of not making any mistakes on polling day, whether intentional or unintentional.

    During the program, the DEO and Additional Collector Sanchit Gangwar explained the duties of POs and Assistant POs. They stressed the significance of conducting elections peacefully and advised participants to follow their responsibilities diligently. They also encouraged them to report any difficulties to sectoral officials promptly for assistance.

    The training session was supported by master trainers who work closely with the district collector to ensure that election personnel are well-prepared. Another training session for 367 Presiding and Assistant Presiding Officers is scheduled for May 6.
