    Mahabubabad: Officials carried out raids on several rice mills in Mahabubabad district and found a major issue involving Custom Milled Rice (CMR). During the inspections, they discovered that rice worth ₹24.55 crores was missing from the mills.

    As a result, criminal cases have been filed against the owners of three rice mills. Authorities are now investigating to find out how such a large amount of rice disappeared and whether it was stolen or sold illegally.

    These raids are part of a larger effort to stop corruption and irregularities in rice mills across the state. More action is expected as the investigation continues.
