Hyderabad, June 29 (Namaste Telangana): The National BC Commission Chairman Hansraj Gangaaram Ahir has sent a statement to the Chief Commissioner of the Telangana BC Commission, Dr. Vakulabharanam Krishnamohan Rao, requesting that the income limit for creamy layer be increased from Rs. 8 lakhs to Rs. 15 lakhs.

Hansraj met with Vakulabharanam at Haritha Plaza in Begumpet during his visit to Hyderabad. He presented him with a bouquet and expressed his appreciation. He discussed the important aspects of BC reservations and urged the central government to take action in the direction of implementing reservations as per the recommendations of the National Commission.

He requested that the central government consider the implementation of the Backlog Reservation Policy for BC posts. He explained that many candidates are unable to achieve a permanent status due to various reasons, despite the 27% reservation in central government jobs for OBCs.
