    Popular actors Nandamuri Balakrishna, Jr NTR, and Kalyan Ram paid tribute to former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister NT Rama Rao on his 27th death anniversary. They visited NTR Ghat in Hyderabad to lay wreaths at his samadhi early in the morning. Jr NTR was accompanied by his brother Kalyan Ram, and they were the first to pay their respects. A large number of Jr NTR’s fans gathered at the event, making it challenging for security personnel to control the crowd. Balakrishna, who is also a TDP MLA in Andhra Pradesh, also honored his father. He was joined by his brother N Ramakrishna and other family members.

    Balakrishna praised NTR for his dedication to serving the people, especially the poor and downtrodden. He stated that NTR will always be remembered and cherished by the people. Balakrishna emphasized NTR’s role in fighting for the self-respect of Telugu people and bringing recognition to them globally. He highlighted NTR’s contributions in both the film industry and politics.

    NT Rama Rao, a legendary actor, founded the TDP party in 1982 with the slogan of Telugu self-respect. Within nine months, he achieved a remarkable feat by coming to power and ending Congress’ single-party rule in undivided Andhra Pradesh. NTR passed away on January 18, 1996, a few months after his son-in-law Chandrababu Naidu led a rebellion and became the chief minister.
