Hyderabad: The second day of the Bharatiya Kala Mahotsav at Rashtrapati Nilayam saw a huge number of visitors. People gathered to celebrate the vibrant culture and heritage of North-East India. The event featured booths with a wide variety of handmade items, which many attendees enjoyed shopping for. These items reflected the rich traditions of the North-Eastern region.
One of the main attractions was the Youth Engagement Zone, which was especially popular with children. Kids participated in fun activities like pottery making and interactive learning sessions. Another highlight was the Ashtalakshmi Rangoli, where music and dance from all eight North-Eastern states were showcased. The performances were a beautiful blend of visual and auditory art, setting the stage for the evening’s main events. The Nagaland Ensemble Choir and Sky Roofs Band from Assam took the spotlight with their soulful music, leaving the audience in awe.
Meanwhile, the food court was a hit throughout the day. Visitors enjoyed a variety of authentic North-Eastern dishes, which highlighted the region’s diverse culinary traditions. According to a senior officer, the food added to the overall cultural experience for those attending the festival.
