Heavy rain hit Rangareddy district on Sunday, causing traffic disruptions and uprooted trees. The areas of Parigi, Shadnagar, Shamshabad, Rajendranagar, Narsingi, LB Nagar, and Maheshwaram were without power for several hours. The heavy rain and gusty winds caused significant damage, including uprooted trees along the Shadnagar highway, a collapsed signboard, and electricity poles falling on houses. The rainfall also caused damage to mango farmers and flooded some houses in Balaji Nagar Colony. Authorities are working to address the situation and minimize the impact on the local population.
