    Hyderabad / Karimnagar: The Civil Supplies Minister, N Uttam Kumar Reddy, announced on Wednesday that issuing new ration cards to all eligible individuals is an ongoing and transparent process under the current Congress government.

    Speaking at Praja Palana Gram Sabhas in the Karimnagar Parliamentary segment, the Minister encouraged people to check if their names are listed as beneficiaries. He urged eligible individuals to apply for ration cards during the ongoing Gram Sabhas or through the designated officials. “Ration cards are essential for almost all poor families. We are committed to ensuring that every eligible person is included in the Public Distribution System (PDS) through ration cards,” he stated.

    The Minister also highlighted that the welfare programs introduced by the Congress government in Telangana aim to cover all eligible individuals, ensuring no one is left out. These initiatives are designed to provide benefits up to complete saturation.

    During his visit, the Minister toured areas including Manakondur, Choppadandi, Vemulawada, and Dharmapuri Assembly constituencies. He was accompanied by Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, MLC T Jeevan Reddy, and local MLAs.
