Union minister Nitin Gadkari spoke at a program in Rajasthan and said that voters are won through good service, not by hanging posters or giving out tea. He said that he will not put up posters or banners, or offer tea to people in his constituency during the next election. He believes that those who want to vote will do so, regardless of these types of activities. Gadkari is confident that he will increase his winning margin in the next poll.

During his speech, Gadkari talked about how he fought a tough election and was told not to contest from his constituency, but he did so with determination. He believes that votes are obtained through politics of service, development, and welfare for the poor. This includes providing health facilities, employment opportunities for youth, and good education for children.
