    The NITI Aayog, Government of India, organized a workshop called ‘Viksit Bharat@2047’ at the Telangana Raj Bhavan. The workshop aimed to involve educators and academic leaders in shaping the vision of a developed India by 2047.

    The workshop began with speeches from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, which were delivered virtually. Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan expressed her gratitude to the Prime Minister for initiating the dialogue on Viksit Bharat@2047. She highlighted the potential of Telangana and Pondicherry to lead the way in achieving this vision. She emphasized the importance of focused execution and action, stating that there should be no excuses, only execution. She encouraged educators to adopt an engaging and effective teaching approach.

    Dr Soundararajan urged educators and faculty members to encourage students to actively participate and contribute their ideas to achieve the goal of a developed India by 2047. She particularly emphasized the need to reach out to students who may require extra support, ensuring that everyone receives quality education.

    The workshop had the theme of “Empowering India, Innovation in Science and Technology.” It saw participation from Vice Chancellors, Directors, Deans, and many faculty members from State Universities, Central Universities, Private Universities, and other higher educational institutions in Telangana. The participants actively engaged in discussions and shared innovative ideas to shape the vision for Viksit Bharat by 2047.
