Hyderabad: The National Institute for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (NIMSME) in Hyderabad has received accreditation from the National Accreditation Board of Education and Training (NABET). This award is in recognition of its outstanding services in promoting and developing MSMEs.
The assessment for this accreditation was thorough. A team from the Capacity Building Commission (CBC), NABET, and Quality Control of India visited NIMSME to inspect all its standard operating procedures and methodologies. After the on-site assessment, NIMSME was awarded a certificate of accreditation with a three-star rating, termed “Utkrisht.”
NIMSME operates under the Union Ministry of MSME. It plays a significant role in entrepreneurship and skill development by creating a supportive environment for MSMEs to thrive. The institute’s activities are divided among four schools of excellence: the School of Enterprise Development (SED), the School of Enterprise Management (SEM), the School of Entrepreneurship and Extension (SEE), and the School of Enterprise Information and Communication (SEIC).
