    Khanapur: Nirmal district Additional Collector, Faizan Ahmed, inaugurated a new warehouse at Gangaiah Peta in Maskapur on Thursday. The warehouse will be used to store farm produce.

    During the event, Faizan Ahmed explained that the State government is running various welfare programs to support farmers. One of these efforts is building warehouses to help farmers store the food grains they produce.

    This particular warehouse was built under the direction of DCCB and cost about Rs 50 lakh. It was officially opened on Thursday.

    The Additional Collector also mentioned that the warehouse has a storage capacity of 500 metric tonnes. He encouraged farmers to make use of this facility.
