    Ashok Reddy is now the new managing director of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB). He officially took over the position from Sudarshan Reddy, the previous MD. Ashok Reddy has been a part of the Water Board for two years and has held various roles within the organization in the past.

    From 2009 to 2011, he served as the Executive Director and Finance Director of the Water Board. Following that, he worked as an Additional Commissioner at GHMC from 2012 to 2014. In 2019, he also served as the Managing Director of Musi River Development Authority for nine months. Ashok Reddy brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge in the field of water management.

    His appointment comes at a crucial time for HMWSSB, as they continue to work towards providing clean and safe water to the residents of Hyderabad. Ashok Reddy’s leadership and expertise are expected to further enhance the operations of the Water Board and contribute to its ongoing success.
