Chief Minister Revanth Reddy directed officials on 18th December to scout for suitable land spanning 500-1000 acres between the Outer Ring Road (ORR) and Regional Ring Road (RRR), located 50-100 kilometers from the airport.

Rumors are swirling that the government is eyeing specific government land parcels situated between Shadnagar and Bala Nagar along NH-44 for the establishment of a new industrial area. This area gains strategic importance as the RRR, according to a previous proposal, is slated to traverse through Bal Nagar on the Bangalore Highway.

Key areas within the 50-100 km radius from the airport that may be under consideration include Shadnagar, Bala Nagar, Rajapur, and several others.

Revanth Reddy emphasized the need to identify land allocated for industries and parcels currently lying dormant. “All upcoming industries should be established away from residential areas. This initiative aims to acquire lands at lower prices, and farmers are expected to extend their support to the land acquisition process,” stated the Chief Minister.

The move is part of the government’s larger vision to strategically plan industrial areas, ensuring they are situated away from densely populated regions. This not only facilitates land acquisition at reasonable costs but also mitigates potential conflicts arising from the coexistence of residential and industrial zones.

The Chief Minister’s directive underscores the government’s commitment to fostering industrial growth while maintaining a balance between development and the interests of the local populace. As the search for suitable land intensifies, stakeholders are keenly watching the unfolding developments, anticipating a significant economic impetus for the region.
