The Telangana State Government has made some changes in its administration. GHMC Commissioner Lokesh Kumar has been transferred and will now serve as Additional Election Commissioner. In his place, D Ronald Rose, the state Finance Secretary, has been appointed as the new Commissioner.
Another senior IAS official named Sarfaraz Ahmad, who previously held the position of Excise and Prohibition Commissioner, has also been transferred. He will now serve as Additional Election Commissioner. Lastly, a senior IAS official, who is currently writing for posting, has been appointed as the new Commissioner of the Excise department.
