Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called for an extended meeting with NDA allies on July 18. In addition, it has been decided to invite those who had previously left the NDA.
The Akali Dal, which had left the NDA prior to the Punjab Assembly elections due to its opposition to the farm laws, has been invited to attend the meeting. They have agreed to attend and are considering rejoining the NDA. However, it remains uncertain whether the old ally TDP will also be invited. Likewise, it is unclear if the Jana Sena party, which is in alliance with the BJP in Andhra Pradesh, will receive an invitation.
It should be noted that this NDA meeting will take place on the same day as a meeting of opposition parties in Bengaluru.
