Two NCC cadets from the Telugu states, Nagandla Dheeraj and M Srisanth, were awarded the Best Cadet Medal and Coveted Baton by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the PM Rally in New Delhi.
Cadet Nagandla Dheeraj was recognized as the best cadet in the junior wing ‘Navy category’ from Secunderabad Group, and Sergeant M Srisanth was awarded the title of the ‘best cadet’ in the junior wing Army category from Tirupati Group.
Nagandla Dheeraj, a class 9 student of VRS Vignana Jyoti School in Bachupally, expressed his gratitude towards his NCC trainers for selecting him to be a part of the Republic Day parade. He felt incredibly happy and proud to be adjudged as the best cadet. This award is a privilege and a significant achievement in his life.
During the Republic Day camp, Nagandla had the prestigious opportunity to receive the baton and medal from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This moment brought tears of joy to his eyes.
