The Republic Day Camp (RDC) is an annual event where NCC cadets from all over India come together to celebrate India’s sovereignty and showcase their talents. This year, the NCC contingent from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, consisting of 128 cadets, participated in RDC 2024 in New Delhi. These cadets demonstrated discipline, dedication, and their commitment to nation-building.
During the Flag Area Competition, the Vice President of India, Jagdish Dhankar, praised the performances of the NCC cadets. Cadet Aakansa Bhosle also briefed him on the theme of “India’s exploration in space.” The cultural competitions, including group song, group dance, ballet, and national integration and awareness programs, showcased the excellence of the cadets from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Out of the 128 cadets, 15 girl cadets have been selected to march on the prestigious Kartavya path during the Republic Day march past on January 26. Additionally, 10 cadets have been chosen for the guard of honor, table drill, and commentary box. These cadets will have the opportunity to perform during the Prime Minister rally march past on January 27.
