    Two teachers from Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan have been selected for the National Award to teachers this year. Mujeeb Rahman from KV Kanjikode and Chetna Khambete from Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2 BSF, Indore, have been selected for the year 2022–23 for bringing a positive change in the lives of students using their quality teaching skills in school education. Both the teachers will receive the National Award to Teachers on September 5 in New Delhi.

    Mr. Mujib Rahman is a teacher with a passion for technology and an unwavering commitment to his work. He has introduced innovative programs in the library at KV Kanjikode, such as library point systems and various activities to promote reading habits and develop language skills among students. His free library software has been widely used by many school libraries across the country. His efforts have been recognized and appreciated, and the Kendriya Vidyalaya Kanjikode Library has won awards for its integration of technology and reading initiatives.

    Ms. Chetna Khambete, a PGT (Biology) at Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 BSF, Indore, has made significant contributions to the education sector. She has created a conducive learning environment for her students and has been involved in a non-governmental organization called Ekalavya. Ms. Khambete focuses on cultivating scientific temperament among her students and encourages learner-centric methodologies. Her biology laboratory is equipped with interactive tools and teaching aids, providing a hands-on learning experience for students. She guides her students in scientific research and has achieved outstanding results at regional and national levels.

    The National Award to Teachers recognizes and applauds the exceptional contributions of the best teachers in the country. These awards serve as an inspiration for dedicated teachers who have improved the quality of school education and enriched the lives of their students.
