Nara Lokesh accuses YS Jagan of manipulating institutions to block Naidu's bail.

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) general secretary Nara Lokesh has accused Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy of managing institutions to prevent TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu from getting bail. On September 11, Naidu was remanded to judicial custody in a multi-crore scam in Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation. Lokesh, along with his mother Nara Bhuvaneswari and TTDP president Kasani Gnaneswar, visited Naidu in prison on Saturday.

After the meeting, Lokesh spoke to the media and claimed that YS Jagan was manipulating the institutions to keep himself out on bail for 10 years. He also alleged that the police were preventing the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) from arresting YS Avinash Reddy, YS Jagan’s brother and one of the accused in the murder case of former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy.

Lokesh pointed out that the remarks made by YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders about Naidu dying in jail were evidence enough that the former Chief Minister’s life was in danger. He criticized the YSRCP leaders for wanting Naidu to suffer for their personal vendetta. Furthermore, Lokesh expressed concern about the threats made against his mother, Nara Bhuvaneswari, who is not even related to the case.

Lokesh questioned whether any new information had been revealed in the 50 days of trial regarding the Skill Development Corporation and AP Fibregrid scam. He stated that Chandrababu had not done anything wrong and that they had presented all the evidence to the public. Lokesh emphasized that there was no corrupt money in their accounts. He accused the YSRCP Government of intentionally causing trouble for Naidu, who had focused on development and welfare during his tenure.

In a scathing attack on YS Jagan, Lokesh claimed that the YSRCP Government was spending crores of rupees to keep Naidu in jail. He criticized the leaders for neglecting the farmers, especially considering the damage to crops on 32 lakh acres of land in the State. Lokesh accused them of using their State tours for political gain instead of addressing the farmers’ plight.
