Senior Dalit leader of BJP, Namburi Ramalingeswara Rao, has submitted an application for the BJP ticket from the Sathupalli assembly segment. He mentioned that they have received at least 50 applications for BJP tickets in each constituency, which disproves the claims made by Congress and BRS that BJP would not be able to field candidates in all 119 constituencies.

Namburi, who previously contested from Satthupalli Assembly Constituency on a BJP ticket, expressed his desire to contest again this time. He highlighted that he has been actively working for the party in Satthupalli assembly constituency for the past eight years, following the orders of the party high command. He has been spreading awareness about PM Modi’s welfare schemes and working alongside local leaders to strengthen the party. Leaders from Khammam district were present during his application submission.
