    Khammam BRS Party MP Nama Nageswara Rao visited the dried-up Paleru reservoir during his tour of Paleru constituency. He mentioned that the reservoir was always full during their party’s regime under the leadership of KCR.

    During the visit, Nama Nageswara Rao highlighted the lack of irrigation and drinking water for farmers under the Congress government. He stated that around 15 lakh acres of land had dried up in Telangana, leading to a significant loss of paddy crops in Khammam district. He emphasized the need to provide drinking water to the people and irrigation water to the farmers to alleviate their suffering.

    The BRS leaders demanded immediate action to provide drinking water and irrigation water to the people of Telangana, especially in Khammam district. They also planned to assess areas where crops have been damaged due to water scarcity.

    Former CM KCR’s efforts for farmers were praised by BRS leaders, while they criticized the Congress government for its inaction and failure to support farmers. They called for financial assistance for affected farmers and proposed solutions to address the drinking water scarcity in the region.

Various party leaders and members were present at the event, along with local officials, activists, and farmers who joined the discussions.
