The district of Nalgonda has reason to celebrate as the construction of the proposed IT Hub building is progressing well. The structural brickwork has been completed, and the entire facility is expected to be ready by July. This development is good news for the youth of the district as it will provide employment opportunities and support indirect employment for people in other sectors. It is expected that the completion of the IT Hub building will lead to healthy and impressive growth in Nalgonda Town, making it one of the eminent places in the state.
The state government’s move to encourage IT companies in tier-2 cities and towns led to the approval of an IT Hub in Nalgonda. This decision was made following a request from MLA Kancharla Bhupal Reddy, which was approved by the Minister for Information Technology, K T Rama Rao. Two years ago, Bhupal Reddy, along with the District Collector and other officials, held a zoom meeting with heads of several IT companies from the USA, Australia, and the United Kingdom. As a result of this meeting, prospective NRI investors promised to invest in the IT Hub in Nalgonda.
The IT Minister allocated Rs 74 crore for the construction of the IT Hub buildings and announced that it is expected to create employment for 1,000 people directly and 1,500 indirectly. Additionally, a TASK Center will be set up in the IT hub to train youth in various IT-related skills.
Overall, the completion of the IT Hub building in Nalgonda is a significant development that will not only create employment opportunities but also contribute to the growth of the town and the state as a whole.
