Warangal: Hanumakonda DCC president Naini Rajender Reddy criticized the KCR Government for not fulfilling its election promises. He accused Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao of making empty promises that cannot be carried out. Speaking at Ramannapet, Reddy stated that the government failed to help flood-affected families and the power supply situation is not as claimed by the government. He also alleged that the KCR family has exploited the resources of Telangana in the past nine years.

Reddy further claimed that there is a secret understanding between the BRS and BJP, despite their public criticism of each other. He accused the BJP-led Central Government of allowing MLC K Kavitha to escape punishment in the Delhi liquor scam. Reddy also pointed out that BRS MLA D Vinay Bhaskar, who had previously protested for a bus station in Kazipet, is now silent on the issue.

Moreover, Reddy criticized the BRS for failing to pressure the Centre into fulfilling the assurances made to Telangana under the AP Reorganisation Act-2014. To expose the failures of the BRS and BJP, Congress cadres will embark on a padayatra (foot march) from Ramannapet in the Warangal West constituency starting from October 21. Reddy added that they will also educate people about the Congress’ “Six Guarantees” promised to the people.

The event was attended by senior leaders Buddha Jagan, Oruganti Purna, Thota Venkateshwarlu, Naini Laxma Reddy, Chennamallu, and Banka Sampath.
