Warangal: MLA Refutes Allegations of Secret Meeting, Defends Loyalty to Congress
Warangal West MLA Naini Rajender Reddy has dismissed rumors about attending a secret meeting aimed at opposing the State Congress leadership. He clarified that some individuals with personal agendas are trying to create confusion within the Congress party by spreading false information through social media and YouTube channels.
In a statement on Sunday, Naini strongly defended his loyalty to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He criticized those spreading these allegations, labeling them as baseless attempts to damage the party’s image. “What is wrong with MLAs of the same party meeting each other?” he questioned, emphasizing that such gatherings should not be misconstrued.
The MLA further accused opposition parties of exaggerating the situation and portraying it negatively. To address the issue, Naini revealed that he had written to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, requesting an investigation to identify the individuals responsible for spreading false stories and tarnishing the Congress party’s reputation.
Naini also announced his intentions to file a defamation suit against the YouTube channels that published misleading content about him. He expressed his determination to take legal action against those attempting to harm his reputation.
Meanwhile, reports suggest that the alleged meeting, said to have occurred on the night of January 31, might have been related to dissatisfaction among MLAs over a minister’s perceived inaction on key development projects in their constituencies. However, Naini has denied any wrongdoing and reiterated his commitment to the party’s leadership.
