Members of the Mesram family, who are the custodians of the festival, performed the sacred abhishekam using water from the holy Godavari River. This water was brought from Hastinamadugu by the district authorities. Prominent officials such as Adilabad District Collector Rajarsisha, SP Ghaus Alam, MLC Dande Vittal, Khanapur MLA Veduma Bojju Patel, MLA Anil Jadhav, and ITDA PO Kushboo Gupta also participated in the Maha Puja.

Earlier in the day, the Mesram clan members visited the temple of their clan deities and conducted traditional rituals. Following this, the new idol of the Nagoba deity was ceremoniously brought to the temple along with other puja items.
