    Nagoba Jatara Begins in Adilabad

The Nagoba Jatara, the second-largest tribal festival in Telangana, commenced with a grand puja on the occasion of the new moon in the month of Pushyama. The festival is being held in Keslapur village, Adilabad district. Devotees from Telangana and neighboring states gathered in large numbers at the Nagoba Temple to seek blessings from the Nagoba Goddess.

Members of the Mesram family, who are the custodians of the festival, performed the sacred abhishekam using water from the holy Godavari River. This water was brought from Hastinamadugu by the district authorities. Prominent officials such as Adilabad District Collector Rajarsisha, SP Ghaus Alam, MLC Dande Vittal, Khanapur MLA Veduma Bojju Patel, MLA Anil Jadhav, and ITDA PO Kushboo Gupta also participated in the Maha Puja.
