Air Marshal Nagesh Kapoor is now the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C) Training Command (TC), Bengaluru. He joined the Indian Air Force in 1986 and has extensive flying experience with over 3,400 hours in the air. He has also held various leadership positions throughout his career, including Commanding Officer of a fighter squadron and Station Commander of a flying base.
Additionally, Air Marshal Kapoor has served as Chief Instructor at the Air Force Academy and held staff positions at various headquarters. He was awarded the Vayu Sena Medal in 2008 and the Ati Vishisht Seva Medal in 2022 for his outstanding service.
Before his current role, Air Marshal Kapoor was the Air Officer-in-Charge Personnel at Air HQ. He has also served as a Defence Attaché in Pakistan.
Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his dedication and leadership in the Indian Air Force.
