Nagar Kurnool DSP Burri Srinivas has given some important advice to parents of school and college students as summer vacations approach. He mentioned that many students are interested in learning swimming during the summer months. Srinivas advised those wanting to learn swimming to not go alone to ponds, wells, or canals. It is important for them to learn under the supervision of adults.

He also emphasized the use of safety jackets or air tubes while learning to swim. Parents should make sure their children do not venture to water bodies alone, especially in villages. It is crucial for elders to keep a close watch on children to prevent any accidents like falling into canals or ponds, which have occurred in the past.
