Konduru Ravinder Rao, the Chairman of NAFSCOB, TSCAB, and KDCCB, has been re-nominated for a second term as a member of the Governing Council of the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC). This nomination took place at an event in New Delhi. Rao expressed his gratitude for being re-nominated and considered it a privilege as a south India cooperator. He was also re-nominated as a member of the Governing Council of the Bankers Institute of Rural Development (BIRD) in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh for three years. BIRD is an organization that provides training to bank employees in the rural cooperative sector and commercial banks.
The NCDC, led by Union Minister for Cooperation Amit Shah, is a prominent cooperative organization that supports various types of cooperatives, as well as the agriculture and allied sectors, and helps expand their financial resources. The term for a governing council member is three years, and they meet every quarter.
