KTR, Kavitha Support Finance Minister
Malkajgiri BRS legislator Mynampally Hanumanth Rao criticized Finance Minister T Harish Rao, accusing him of corruption. He threatened to expose him. However, BRS leaders KT Rama Rao and MLC Kavitha came to the minister’s defense, condemning the MLA’s comments.
Hanumanth Rao claimed that Harish Rao was obstructing development in the old Medak district by promoting group politics. He questioned Harish Rao’s authority in Medak district and raised concerns about ticket allocation.
Hanumanth Rao’s son was hoping to get a ticket from Medak. The current member, Padma Devendar Reddy, is a strong supporter of Harish Rao. The BRS MLA warned that he would show his power and influence in Harish Rao’s Assembly segment of Siddipet, where he has been winning elections with a large majority since 2004. He also alleged that Harish Rao had accumulated Rs 1 lakh crore by looting public money.
KTR, who was in the US at the time, condemned the MLA’s behavior on Twitter. He stood with Harish Rao and emphasized his importance as a founding member of the BRS party.
Kavitha also took to Twitter to express her support for Harish Rao and criticized Hanumanth Rao’s comments. She also praised Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for his leadership and announced candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections.
There is a belief that the people of Telangana will have unwavering faith in CM KCR and the BRS government. Kavitha humbly sought the blessings of the people of Telangana.
